But we have to keep our focus on the big picture. We need to improve the car, we need to close the gap to McLaren. That is our main target right now.”
Despite the frustrations and the team orders, Hamilton remains optimistic about the potential for Ferrari to improve and get back into the fight at the front of the grid.
“I think we’ve got a lot of things in the pipeline,” Hamilton said. “We’ve got some things we’re working on to improve the car, and I think the future is bright. I think we’re in a good place, and I feel like Ferrari is on the up. We just need to keep pushing, keep working hard, and keep believing in ourselves.”
With the next race on the horizon, Ferrari will be looking to bounce back and show that they can compete at the front once again. The fight for the podium may be tough, but with drivers like Hamilton leading the charge, there is still hope for a successful season ahead.

“Siempre es mucho más fácil hacerlo dos horas más tarde. Les pedimos que lo hicieran, lo hicieron. Ahora la frustración cuando estás en el coche, puedo entender perfectamente esto. Tuvimos una discusión y fue mucho más relajada.
“Esa no es la historia del día. Hicimos P6-7, en lugar de P7-6, o P6-7, o P7-6. Me gustaría mucho más hablar de por qué terminamos un minuto detrás de McLaren.”
Vasseur claramente no se esquivará, pero ese es un tema mucho más difícil de abordar que las comunicaciones por radio con los pilotos, y una brecha muy desalentadora para intentar reducir antes de dirigirse a uno de los grandes premios en casa de Ferrari en Imola la próxima vez.
